Volleyball Recap: A.C. Reynolds Comes Up Short + How To Watch

A.C. Reynolds was the 3-1 winner over Asheville when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Rockets took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars on Tuesday. The Rockets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

A.C. Reynolds was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Asheville work for it, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 27-25, 23-25, 25-18.

Liz Meyer was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had ten digs and two aces. That's the most digs she has posted since back in October of 2024. Poppy Jones also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

A.C. Reynolds' defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Asheville, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 12-4.
