Daniel Ponce posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Saturday. He struck out six batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off six hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.
