Softball Recap: Green Level Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Apex, Green Level was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They skirted past the Millbrook Wildcats 13-12. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Gators have posted since April 17, 2024.

The team relied heavily on Sloane Kessler, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI, one triple, and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Stella Pepin, who scored three runs and stole Four bases. while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances.

Green Level always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .550. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The victory got Green Level back to even at 3-3. As for Millbrook, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-3 record.

Green Level didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-7 defeat against Panther Creek on the 13th. As for Millbrook, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, an 11-10 loss against Heritage on the 18th.
