Football Recap: Heritage Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Heritage fell victim to Williams and their airtight defense on Friday. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 24-0. The Huskies' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Cole Perry threw for 151 yards on 15 of 24 attempts. Grant Day was his top target, picking up 48 receiving yards.

Williams' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kyrian Fuller, who threw for 106 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 72.2% of his passes, and also rushed for 74 yards on only six carries. The Bulldogs' leading receiver Christian Booth was Fuller's top target yet again, picking up 66 receiving yards and two TDs.

Heritage's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Williams, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Heritage has already played their next match, a 23-7 loss against Holly Springs on the 19th. As for Williams, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 56-6 win against Graham on the 19th.
