Basketball Game Preview: Everett Seagulls vs. Snohomish Panthers

The Everett Seagulls will head out on the road to face off against the Snohomish Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Everett is headed into the match having just suffered their biggest loss since December 30, 2023 on Tuesday. They were dealt a 76-43 defeat at the hands of Marysville Getchell. The loss continues a trend for the Seagulls in their matchups with Marysville Getchell: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, Snohomish was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 51-37 bruising from Monroe. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 231st, while the Bearcats are ranked 46th).

Everett's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Snohomish, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-10.

Everett came up short against Snohomish when the teams last played back in December of 2024, falling 45-41. Can Everett avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
