Volleyball Recap: Fort Thomas Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Fort Thomas can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the North Phoenix Preparatory Academy Gladiators on Friday. The shutout was out of character for the Apaches seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-12, 25-15.

Coco Veatch had a dynamite game For North Phoenix Preparatory Academy., getting 19 digs and one assist. That's the most digs Veatch has posted since back in September.

Fort Thomas' defeat dropped their record down to 17-8. As for North Phoenix Preparatory Academy, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-4.

Fort Thomas does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Phoenix Preparatory Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Anthem Prep on the 7th.
