Football Recap: Sandwich Gets the Win

While Sandwich's victory against Plano wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Indians sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 32-30 win over the Reapers on Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Indians considering their six-point performance the contest before.

Sandwich's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Plano, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Sandwich is set to take on their familiar foe Johnsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Plano will face off against rival Woodstock North at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
