Northwest Whitfield had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came out on top against the Trion Bulldogs by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on Saturday.

Jenna Quinn paced Northwest Whitfield's offense, picking up nine kills. Quinn got some help from Megan Torbett and her 17 assists. Torbett was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Northwest Whitfield's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Trion, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Northwest Whitfield didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Fannin County on the 23rd. Trion has also already played their next game (against Coosa), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
