Basketball Recap: Bullis Takes Down Ranked Georgetown Prep

On Thursday, Bullis faced Georgetown Prep in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Bullis Bulldogs secured a 76-70 W over the Georgetown Prep Little Hoyas. The victory was some much needed relief for the Bulldogs as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Bullis' win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Georgetown Prep, they dropped their record down to 6-7 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Bullis will square off against Sidwell Friends at 6:45 p.m. on Saturday. As for Georgetown Prep, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against St. Andrew's Episcopal at 5:00 p.m.
