Soccer Game Preview: Rockport-Fulton vs. Calallen

The Rockport-Fulton Pirates will square off against the Calallen Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Calallen took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Rockport-Fulton, who comes in off a win.

Rockport-Fulton headed into their last game having not scored more than one goal for five straight, but King let them put that streak behind them. Rockport-Fulton's defense stepped up to hand King an 8-0 shutout on Friday. The Pirates haven't had any issues with the Brahmas recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Calallen fell victim to Tuloso-Midway and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They lost 4-0 to the Warriors & Cherokees. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rockport-Fulton picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-8. As for Calallen, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.

Rockport-Fulton was able to grind out a solid victory over Calallen when the teams last played back in February of 2024, winning 2-0. Will Rockport-Fulton repeat their success, or does Calallen have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
