Volleyball Game Preview: Uplift Titans vs. Chicago Mathematics & Science

Uplift hasn't had much luck against Chicago Mathematics & Science recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Titans will challenge Chicago Mathematics & Science at 5:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Friday, Uplift didn't have quite enough to beat Holy Trinity and fell 2-1.

Uplift actually scored more points across those three sets (67-61), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 11-25, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Chicago Mathematics & Science didn't have quite enough to beat Intrinsic on Thursday and fell 2-1.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Chicago Mathematics & Science sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-21, 12-25, 25-20.

Chicago Mathematics & Science's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Uplift, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-8.

Uplift came up short against Chicago Mathematics & Science in their previous meeting back in September of 2023, falling 2-0. Can the Titans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
