Volleyball Recap: Oakwood Christian Takes a Loss

Oakwood Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Franklin Road Christian Minutemen. The shutout was out of character for the Eagles seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in August.

Oakwood Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Franklin Road Christian, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 17-3.

Oakwood Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Tabernacle Christian at 6:00 p.m. on the 16th. As for Franklin Road Christian, they have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Arlington Baptist on the 2nd.
