Soccer Recap: Lake Howell Comes Up Short

If Lake Howell was feeling good fresh off their 7-0 takedown of Wekiva last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lake Howell Silverhawks fell just short of the Olympia Titans by a score of 1-0 on Friday. The Silverhawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Titans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2020.

Lake Howell's defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-7-1. As for Olympia, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lake Howell will welcome Harmony at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Olympia, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Ocoee at 7:30 p.m. Olympia is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.6 goals per game this season.
