Enochs has gone 9-1 against Downey recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Eagles will head out to square off against the Knights at 4:00 p.m. Enochs is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.2 runs per game this season.

Turlock hit Enochs with a four-run first inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Eagles fell 8-5 to the Bulldogs.

Lillian Camarena and Camila Ramirez stepped up to the plate in a big way. Camarena went 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double, while Ramirez went 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Downey was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 10-0 to Pitman. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Knights haven't been shut out since back in March.

Downey's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Enochs, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-5.

Enochs got the 'W' in their previous meeting two weeks ago against Downey by a conclusive 20-3 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
