Basketball Recap: White Shield Comes Up Short

White Shield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 22nd straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the New Town Eagles 89-19. The Warriors lost against the Eagles in their previous head to head back in February of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 62-15 score last time.

White Shield's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for New Town, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

White Shield won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Ray at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. White Shield is facing Ray at the right time seeing as Ray is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. New Town and Garrison will round out the year against one another at at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
