Lincoln Southwest is 9-1 against Lincoln East since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Silver Hawks and the Spartans will meet in a classic East v. West matchup at 8:00 p.m. Both teams are still undefeated (Lincoln Southwest has four wins , while Lincoln East has five dating back to last season).

Lincoln Southwest's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 5-0 margin over Lincoln Southeast.

Lincoln Southwest hit the Knights with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kira Schafer (2), Kamdyn O'Bryant, Molly Riggins, and Maya Stevenson.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lincoln East). They put the hurt on Lincoln Northeast with a sharp 11-0 victory on Tuesday. Lincoln East's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three contests.

Lincoln East pushed their record up to 5-0 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 28 goals over those three games. As for Lincoln Southwest, their win bumped their record up to 4-0.

Lincoln Southwest was able to grind out a solid victory over Lincoln East in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, winning 3-1. Do the Silver Hawks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Spartans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
