Ashland is 2-8 against Medway since May of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Clockers will head out on the road to challenge the Mustangs at 4:15 p.m. Ashland is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.1 runs per game this season.

Ashland's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over Burncoat. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Clockers.

Neko Ustaris was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Ustaris was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three runs and one stolen base.

In other batting news, Katie Lymburner-Jensen was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. She continues to improve, besting her previous run total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Caroline Caira, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.

Ashland kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. They are 2-1 when they post 11 or more hits.

Meanwhile, Medway lost 16-5 to Westwood on Monday. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ashland's record now sits at 3-5. As for Medway, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Ashland suffered a grim 24-0 defeat to Medway in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can the Clockers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
