Baseball Recap: Utica Eisenhower Takes a Loss

Utica Eisenhower dropped to 6-10 on Wednesday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins at home. They fell just short of the Sterling Heights Stevenson Titans by a score of 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Eagles have suffered since April 28, 2025.

As for Sterling Heights Stevenson, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-19. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory they have posted since April 6th.

For Sterling Heights Stevenson's part, Josh Leonard was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. The Titans are 3-1 when Leonard posts two or more runs, but 2-18 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Nick Kunes, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one stolen base.
