Soccer Game Preview: Enterprise vs. Pleasant Valley

Enterprise hasn't had much luck against Pleasant Valley recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Enterprise Hornets will take on the Pleasant Valley Vikings at 7:00 p.m. Enterprise is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.8 goals per game this season.

Last Wednesday, Enterprise came up short against Red Bluff and fell 4-2. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Xyden Lo and Brandon Magdaleno scored both of Enterprise's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Meanwhile, Pleasant Valley kept a clean sheet against Shasta on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Wolves as they made off with a 3-0 victory. Given the Vikings' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 115th, while Wolves are ranked 495th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Enterprise's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3-1. As for Pleasant Valley, their win bumped their record up to 5-1-3.

Enterprise suffered a grim 5-0 defeat to Pleasant Valley in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Can Enterprise avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
