Volleyball Recap: Olympic Heights' Victory on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Olympic Heights had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Santaluces Chiefs.

While Olympic Heights won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-21, 26-24.

Dymittry Terra paced Olympic Heights' offense, picking up 16 kills. Terra got some help from Noah Corcia and his 21 assists. Bryan Lima controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Olympic Heights' win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-6. As for Santaluces, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Olympic Heights will challenge Monarch at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Knights will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Lions surely won't give up without a fight. After both having extra time off, Santaluces and Palm Beach Gardens will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
