Basketball Recap: Republic County Takes a Loss

Republic County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. The matchup between them and the Sacred Heart Knights didn't end well, with the Republic County Buffaloes falling 57-41. While losing is never fun, the Buffaloes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 274th, while the Knights are ranked 24th).

Republic County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Sacred Heart, the win keeps them at an undefeated 18-0.

Republic County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sacred Heart, they will welcome Ellsworth on Tuesday. One thing working in Sacred Heart's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six games.
