Howland barely beat North the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Tigers blew past the Vikings 3-0 on Monday. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won five in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-16, 27-25.

Wesley Fee paced Howland's offense, picking up 16 kills. Fee got some help from Alex Slater and his 18 assists. Carter Jones controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Howland's win bumped their record up to 6-10. As for North, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-5.

Coming up, Howland will face off against Carrollton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for North, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Northwest on the 29th.
