Football Game Preview: Tunkhannock Tigers vs. Berwick Bulldogs

Tunkhannock is 0-3 against Berwick since November of 2019 but things could change on Friday. The Tigers will host the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Tunkhannock will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.

If Berwick heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Tunkhannock took over last week. The Tigers walked away with a 34-27 victory over Towanda on Friday.

Meanwhile, Berwick put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Selinsgrove 56-0. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 192nd, while the Seals are ranked 411th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Berwick's win bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Tunkhannock, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.

Tunkhannock was dealt a bruising 55-6 defeat at the hands of Berwick in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Tigers were down 34-0.
