Baseball Recap: John Hardin Takes a Loss

John Hardin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 15-3 to the Butler County Bears. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 back in April.

Bryce Bradshaw was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with three stolen bases. Braydon Hackley also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

John Hardin's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Butler County, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-10 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. John Hardin will head out to challenge Hart County at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Butler County, they will challenge Grayson County at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
