Brother Martin waltzed into their game on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They put the hurt on the St. Augustine Purple Knights with a sharp 14-6 victory. The result was nothing new for the Crusaders, who have now won 14 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Brother Martin got a massive performance out of Stan Wiltz, who scored four runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. Those four runs gave Wiltz a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Brody Shannon, who scored a run while going 4-for-4.

Brother Martin always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .595. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Brother Martin pushed their record up to 23-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for St. Augustine, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-11.

Brother Martin will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Purple Knights: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
