Basketball Game Preview: Stanton Blue Devils vs. Eagle's View Warriors

The Stanton Blue Devils will take on the Eagle's View Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

Last Thursday, Stanton was beaten by Ponte Vedra 71-44. While losing is never fun, the Blue Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 444th, while the Sharks are ranked 181st).

Meanwhile, Eagle's View had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 59-20 victory over the Knights. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 26 points or more this season.

Stanton has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Eagle's View, their win bumped their record up to 9-7.

Everything came up roses for Stanton against Eagle's View when the teams last played back in December of 2022, as the squad secured a 49-9 victory. Does Stanton have another victory up their sleeve, or will Eagle's View turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
