Basketball Game Preview: Fox Lane Foxes vs. Greeley Quakers

The Fox Lane Foxes will face off against the Greeley Quakers at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Greeley is facing Fox Lane at the wrong time: Fox Lane suffered their first home loss of the season on Friday and they're likely out for redemption. They took a 56-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pride. While losing is never fun, the Foxes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 251st, while the Pride are ranked 102nd).

Meanwhile, Greeley scored the most points they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of Ossining by a score of 82-79. The Quakers have struggled against the Pride recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Fox Lane's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-3. As for Greeley, their loss dropped their record down to 5-2.

Fox Lane didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Greeley when the teams last played back in February of 2020, but they still walked away with a 52-46 victory.
