Softball Recap: Abington Comes Up Short

Abington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Upper Dublin Flying Cardinals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Flying Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-2 back in March.

Abington's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Upper Dublin, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Abington didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 11-1 defeat against Plymouth Whitemarsh on the 7th. As for Upper Dublin, they have also already played their next contest, a 4-0 victory against Hatboro-Horsham on the 7th.
