Basketball Recap: Elizabethtown Takes a Loss

Elizabethtown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a 74-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Green County Dragons. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (58), the Panthers still had to take the loss.

Elizabethtown's loss dropped their record down to 6-19. As for Green County, their victory bumped their record up to 20-3.

Looking ahead, Elizabethtown will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Oldham County at 6:00 p.m. Elizabethtown is facing Oldham County at the right time seeing as Oldham County is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Green County, they will venture away from home to face off against Cumberland County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Cumberland County's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven contests.
