Softball Recap: Bluefield Comes Up Short

Bluefield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Graham G-Men. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the G-Men this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-6 back in March.

Bluefield's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Graham, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Bluefield didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-5 loss against PikeView on the 11th. As for Graham, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 17-4 defeat against Princeton on the 11th.
