Football Game Preview: Yulee Hornets vs. Stanton Blue Devils

Yulee hasn't had much luck against Stanton recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Hornets will be playing at home against the Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Yulee 7.2, Stanton 10.3) so any points scored will be well earned.

Yulee heads in on the heels of a playoff matchup on Thursday. They took an 18-12 hit to the loss column at the hands of Paxon School For Advanced Studies.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Stanton's offense. They fell 12-0 to Paxon School For Advanced Studies on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty 33 points in the game before, the Blue Devils' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Yulee's defeat dropped their record down to 12-4. As for Stanton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-6 record this season.

Yulee and Stanton were almost perfectly matched up in their previous matchup back in March, but Yulee suffered an agonizing 13-12 loss. Can the Hornets avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
