Baseball Recap: Hudson Catholic Takes a Loss

Hudson Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 10-0 to the Union City Soaring Eagles. The Hawks were not able to make up for their defeat to the Soaring Eagles from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Hudson Catholic saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sandy Antonio, who went 1-for-2 with one double. That double was Antonio's first of the season.

Hudson Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Union City, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1.

While Hudson Catholic had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
