Basketball Recap: Meadowbrook Takes a Loss

Meadowbrook lost against New Lexington back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Meadowbrook Colts took a blow against the New Lexington Panthers, falling 57-21. The game marked the Colts' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meadowbrook dropped their record down to 2-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for New Lexington, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Meadowbrook is taking a road trip to square off against Philo at 12:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025. Meadowbrook is facing Philo at the right time seeing as Philo is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for New Lexington, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Fort Frye at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Fort Frye will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something New Lexington surely won't give up without a fight.
