Basketball Game Preview: Muncie Burris Owls vs. Elwood Panthers

The Muncie Burris Owls will head out on the road to challenge the Elwood Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Muncie Burris is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak.

Back in December of 2024, Muncie Burris had to suffer through a 58-21 loss at the hands of Shenandoah. That's two games in a row now that the Owls have lost by exactly 37 points.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Elwood challenged Alexandria-Monroe on Saturday. Elwood took a blow against Alexandria-Monroe, falling 66-27. The Panthers' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Elwood's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Muncie Burris, their loss dropped their record down to 1-12.

Muncie Burris beat Elwood 44-31 when the teams last played back in November of 2020. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Elwood's Jaleigh Crawford, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 23 boards.
