Baseball Game Preview: J.F. Webb Warriors vs. Louisburg Warriors

J.F. Webb is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to ten runs on Friday, they were much more limited against Louisburg on Tuesday. They came up short against Louisburg, falling 8-2. Warriors fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against Louisburg since on Tuesday.

For Louisburg's part, the team relied heavily on Mason Leonard, who scored a run and stole three bases while going 4-for-4. Those four hits gave Leonard a new career-high.

Leonard wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Louisburg kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as J.F. Webb only managed one hit.

The win made it two in a row for Louisburg and bumps their season record up to 3-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for J.F. Webb, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.
