Baseball Recap: Riverside Takes a Loss

Riverside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 10-0 to the Medical Lake Cardinals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-0 on Saturday.

Riverside saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jasper Fields, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double. That double marked the first that Fields has hit this season.

Riverside's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Medical Lake, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.

While Riverside had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
