Basketball Recap: Pawhuska Huskies vs. Woodland Cougars
It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the Pawhuska Huskies ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They managed a 44-38 victory over Woodland. The win was familiar territory for Pawhuska who now have three in a row.
Pawhuska was led to victory by Trenton Miles and Dax Godsey. Miles dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds, while Godsey scored 14 points along with two steals. Miles has been hot recently, having posted ten or more rebounds the last three times he's played.
Pawhuska now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Woodland, their loss dropped their record down to 12-9.
Pawhuska will head out on the road to challenge the Bulldoggers at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Woodland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
