Basketball Game Preview: Cedar Creek Cougars vs. Dunham Tigers

The Cedar Creek Cougars just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Dunham Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Cedar Creek is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 82 points on Friday, they were much more limited against Ringgold on Tuesday. They were outmatched by the Redskins and fell 55-28. The game marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Meanwhile, Dunham came up short against Liberty Magnet on Monday and fell 51-44. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 43rd, while the Patriots are ranked fourth).

The defeat snapped Cedar Creek's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 13-7 record. As for Dunham, their loss dropped their record down to 18-12.
