Recap: Hamilton Broncs vs. Fergus/Winnett/Grass Range
The Hamilton Broncs and Fergus/Winnett/Grass Range squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the Hamilton Broncs had to settle for second. Hamilton's rough 36-13 loss to Fergus/Winnett/Grass Range might stick with them for a while.
When it comes to explaining why Hamilton lost, one person who can't be blamed is Lucas Lant. Despite the final result, he rushed for 98 yards and a touchdown. Tommy Bender made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
Hamilton's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Fergus/Winnett/Grass Range, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
Hamilton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Fergus/Winnett/Grass Range will head out on the road to face off against Beaverhead County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Beaverhead County is on a four-game streak of home wins, Fergus/Winnett/Grass Range a four-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season)-- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the field.
