Volleyball Recap: Hialeah Educational Academy Comes Up Short

Hialeah Educational Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Goleman Gators. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Biggie of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.

Hialeah Educational Academy took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-17, 25-18.

Kenny Beltran paced Hialeah Educational Academy's offense, picking up two kills. Beltran really made an impact as he also led the team in assists with three.

Goleman found their leader in sophomore Adrian Alexander Morales, who had eight digs and five assists.

Hialeah Educational Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Goleman, they pushed their record up to 9-9 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Hialeah Educational Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Avant Garde Academy on the 7th. As for Goleman, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Hialeah on the 8th.
