Volleyball Recap: Agawam Now 15-1 over Last 16 Games

The Agawam Brownies made easy work of the Sabis International Bulldogs on Sunday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Agawam not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Sabis International between 16 and 19 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-16, 25-19.

Joseph Culhane paced Agawam's offense, picking up seven kills. Culhane got some help from David Dzhenzherukha and his 24 assists. Finally, John Cote kept Agawam's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Agawam has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-2 record this season. As for Sabis International, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-8 record this season.

Agawam will welcome Bellingham at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Blackhawks will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Brownies surely won't give up without a fight. Sabis International does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
