Meanwhile, Berean Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Alhambra.

Ygnacio Valley is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a massive bump to their 10-4-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 28 goals over those ten matchups. As for Berean Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 2-15.

Everything went Ygnacio Valley's way against Berean Christian in their previous meeting back in January, as Ygnacio Valley made off with an 8-0 victory.
