Softball Recap: Satellite's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Monday just wasn't the day for Satellite's offense. They fell just short of the Key West Conchs by a score of 2-0 on Monday. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Scorpions' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Satellite saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sara Sousa, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Satellite's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-3. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 14.8 runs. As for Key West, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Coming up, Satellite will square off against Eau Gallie at 6:00 p.m. on March 24th. As for Key West, they will challenge Palmer Trinity at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
