Softball Recap: Pleasant Grove Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Tracy, Pleasant Grove was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They walked away with a 16-12 win over the St. Mary's Rams. With that victory, the Eagles brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.

The team relied heavily on Natalie Brozaitis, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Paredes, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.

Pleasant Grove was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .556. They are 8-2 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Pleasant Grove's win bumped their record up to 8-11. As for St. Mary's, their loss dropped their record down to 13-6.
