Basketball Game Preview: St. Croix Falls Saints vs. Unity Eagles

St. Croix Falls is a perfect 10-0 against Unity since December of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Saints will be playing at home against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

St. Croix Falls lost 71-48 to Cameron on Tuesday. The Saints haven't had much luck with the Comets recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, Unity had to suffer through a 72-42 loss at the hands of Ladysmith. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 409th, while the Lumberjacks are ranked 186th).

St. Croix Falls' loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Unity, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-16.

Everything went St. Croix Falls' way against Unity in their previous meeting back in January, as St. Croix Falls made off with a 62-39 win. Will the Saints repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
