While Tyquereis Wilson delivered a dominant effort on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Union Parish. Wilson was unstoppable, making 11 total tackles (2.0 for loss). He also rushed for 158 rushing yards, which is notable because Union Parish is 2-1 when he posts at least 80 rushing yards, but 1-3 otherwise.

The loss snapped Union Parish's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-4 record. Wilson and Union Parish will venture away from home to square off against D'Arbonne Woods on Friday.

Antonio Nelson Turns in Season-Best Effort

On Thursday, North Caddo had to settle for second even though Antonio Nelson put up the best numbers he has all season. Nelson picked up 93 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 40 yards, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 84 yards.

North Caddo is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4. They and Green Oaks are set to meet in a battle of mythical proportions on Friday.
