Basketball Game Preview: Lewis Cass Kings vs. Wabash Apaches

The Lewis Cass Kings will take on the Wabash Apaches at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lewis Cass has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Lewis Cass will bounce into Tuesday's contest after beating Lafayette Central Catholic, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Lewis Cass came out on top against Lafayette Central Catholic by a score of 46-38 on Friday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Kings as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Wabash was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 23rd straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by Peru and fell 79-35. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Apaches have suffered against the Tigers since February 24, 2017.

Wabash's defeat dropped their record down to 0-22. As for Lewis Cass, their win bumped their record up to 5-17.

Lewis Cass skirted past Wabash 46-43 in their previous meeting back in February. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lewis Cass since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
