Greater Beckley Christian not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since May 6, 2024. They were the clear victors by a 16-9 margin over the Mount View Golden Knights. With that victory, the Crusaders brought their scoring average up to 7.3 runs per game.

Kaden Bolen made a big impact no matter where he played. He pitched 2.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, Greater Beckley Christian got a massive performance out of Jayden Nguyen, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. Nguyen has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played. Josh Garlow was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Greater Beckley Christian now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Mount View, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Greater Beckley Christian will host Madonna at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Mount View, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Montcalm at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
