After losing to Dillon Christian the last time they met, Carolina Academy decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Bobcats simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Warriors 48-19. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Bobcats just coasted through the last quarter.

Despite the loss, Dillon Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jordan Blackmon rushed for 60 yards and one touchdown on only seven carries, and also threw for 187 yards and one TD.

Carolina Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Dillon Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Carolina Academy is headed away from home for the first time to square off against St. John's Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Dillon Christian, they will face off against Augusta Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
