Football Recap: Forge Christian Starts Season with Win Against Wiggins + How To Watch

Forge Christian gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They strolled past the Wiggins Tigers with points to spare, taking the game 33-14. That's more bragging rights for the Fury, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Quentin Torres went supernova, picking up 190 receiving yards and three TDs, while also rushing for 70 yards and one score. Those 70 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

Forge Christian didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Wiggins to a completion percentage of just 41.2%. The Fury weren't nearly as limited: they posted one of 60%.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Forge Christian will host The Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Wiggins, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Meeker at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
